"Wanted something quiet cheap for dinner, and we found this place. The food was relatively cheap, and the portion size was decent. I had cod and chips. The cod was brilliant, but the chips weren't that good, but still edible — just not the best. The shop was busy, so there was abit of a wait. Overall good customer service."

"I can’t understand why the reviews are so low for this place. The food quality is high, the service is excellent and the staff like a bit of banter. In terms of taste, I’d say that everything I’ve ordered on the multiple occasions I’ve had takeaway from here scores at the higher end of the scale when compared to other chip shops in the region. Portions wise, a single portion of chips with two pieces of fish is ample to feed two adults. Cost is slightly higher than average, but this is Chipping Norton where everything has a slightly elevated price due to the location."

"Food was really tasty, the chips were especially nice, fish and fish bites were a lot smaller that it always used to be and the whole meal felt a tad on the expensive side for the amount you get (I have posted a photo of the prices as I couldn't find them anywhere online). All in all it was a very nice meal and I'd 100% use again and my only real criticism is the costing to portion size."

"Just finished a great meal, was worried after seeing some of the reviews but we didn't have any issues. Ordered Fish and Chips, sausage and chips, 1 extra sausage and 2 x Gravy. It come to just under £25 While expensive vs what I'm used to paying back home, the food was great, fish was lovely and the portion sizes were a decent size too. Paid by Card too which is always handy Would visit again."
